According to the statistics data from LYDD, the production of sponge titanium in China in March 2023 was 18,820 tons, a year-on-year increase of 80.96%, a month-on-month increase of 5.87%.The accumulated sponge titanium production from January to March was 54,500 tons, with a year-on-year increase of 76.64% and a increased production of 23,700 tons.

As the production capacity of the sponge titanium market is released and market demand remains stable, the production of sponge titanium is gradually increasing.

The top three regions in terms of production volume in March were Liaoning Province, Yunnan Province, and Xinjiang Province, accounting for 30%, 16%, and 14% of total production respectively.

In March, the market price of sponge titanium remained basically stable, influenced by the recent recovery of downstream market demand, as well as the maintenance of a good export market. Some companies' orders have improved, and with raw material costs at a high level, the price of sponge titanium continues to maintain a stable operation.
